Fall is [almost] here!!

Join your church on September 28th to go Apple Picking at Stribling Orchard in Markham, Virginia (straight down 66). We will gather a carpool at 9:15am at our church office 613 2nd Street NE and leave at 9:30am. It takes a little over an hour drive to reach the orchard.

Once there, they have apple pickers (read: large sticks with sharp edged baskets) and bags for you to carry your picked apples. Pricing for apples can be found here. You are also welcome to bring your own bags/baskets. Stribling orchard also has a bakery with various snacks and drinks including apple cider for sale. We scheduled a couple hours to spend picking the orchard - map of it can be found here.

We plan to be back in DC between 2pm and 2:30pm.
